That’s what we used to think, too, before starting our business. But after 17 years, we’ve learned that where you’re based doesn’t really matter. What’s truly become important is how you connect with the culture, industry, and even the challenges of your community, and how you channel that into your work.
At IMPROVIDE, our own work has continued to evolve. Our projects, which began from our base in Sapporo and around Hokkaido, have now expanded to Tokyo and throughout the rest of Japan.
