OVERVIEW

カルビーが食オケージョンと素材を広げる戦略のなかで、
fine snackというコンセプトのもと、その中心を担ってきた
まるごと豆をたのしめるスナック「miino（ミーノ）」。

"miino" is a snack that lets you enjoy whole beans and has played a central role under the concept of "fine snack" in Calbee, Inc. to expand food occasions and ingredients.

「豆はカラダに良いもの」と何となく知っている層だけじゃなく、
普段の食生活のなかにもっと豆を取り入れてもらうために、
どんなコミュニケーションが必要か考えてきたのね。

Not only for those who have a vague idea that beans are good for the body, but to have people get more beans into their daily diet, we have thought about what kind of communication is needed.

豆まるごとだから、栄養分をそのままとれる？たんぱく質がたっぷり？
食物繊維もとれる？豆は土壌を豊かにする？地球にもやさしい？
たくさん伝えたいことはあるけれど、そもそも興味を持ってもらい、
そして好きになってもらうには？スナックらしい楽しいコミュニケーションとは？

ecause they are whole beans, can the nutrients be gained as they are? Are they full of protein? Do they contain dietary fiber too? Do the beans enrich the soil? Are they eco-friendly? There are lot of things we want to tell everyone, but in the first place, how do we get everyone to be interested and like miino? What does enjoyable and snack-like communication entail?

そこで誕生したのがSNSコンテンツからスタートした「豆の大ぼうけん空とぶミーノ。」
我が子ミーノ坊やが様々な出会いや体験を通じて、自分の良さに気づいていくという物語よ。
わたし、ミーノママはいつも見守っているだけだけど、少しだけ登場するわ。

That's where the social media content "A Bean's Big Adventure: Miino who flies in the sky" was born. It's a story about my boy, Miino, realizing his own strengths through various encounters and experiences. I, Miino's mom, am always just silently watching over him, but just for now, I'll make a short appearance.

商品のいいところをそのまま伝えるのではなく、「かわいい」や「好き」をつくりながら
楽しく知ってもらい、食べてもらうことで愛着を作り出すデザインプランね。

Instead of just conveying the charms of the product, it is a design plan that creates attachment by having people enjoy learning about it and eating it while creating elements that people think are "cute" and "endearing."

おかげさまで、たくさんの方に好きになってもらえて、
いろんな取り組みをさせてもらっているわ。

そら豆としての自信をもつため、
冒険に出ることに。ちょっぴりなまけ者。 A broad bean fairy. In order to gain confidence as a broad bean, he decides to go on an adventure. A little lazy.

ミーノのママ。
ミーノにはもっと自信をもってほしいと思っている。
怒るとちょっぴりこわい。 Miino's mom. She wants Miino to be more confident. She is a little scary when she gets angry.

黒豆の妖精。
ミーノといっしょに冒険に出ている。
物知り。ときどき強引。 A black bean fairy. On an adventure with Miino. Knowledgeable. Sometimes a bit pushy.

大豆の妖精。
クロマルの親せきで、歌をつくりながら旅をしている。
ロマンチストな隠れマッチョ。 A soybean fairy. A relative of Kuromaru, he travels while writing songs. Romantic and secretly muscular.

枝豆の妖精。
クロマルの親せき。
物静かで天然。ミステリアス。 An edamame fairy. A relative of Kuromaru. Quiet and goofy. Mysterious.

小豆の妖精。
寒いところが好きで北の方で暮らしている。
怖いもの知らず。頭の回転がはやい。 An adzuki bean fairy. Likes cold places and lives in the north. Fearless. A quick thinker.

豆界の情報をいち早くキャッチできる
コミュニケーションツール。 A communication tool that allows users to quickly obtain information about the bean world.

未来人が乗る乗り物。
タンパク質を探して現代にやってきた。 A vehicle ridden by the people of the future. Came to the present age in search of protein.

ミーノのお友だち。
前にミーノに助けてもらった。 Miino's friends. They had Miino help them before.

ミーノにはもっと自分に自信を持って欲しくて、冒険に行かせたの。

あるところにミーノという
そら豆がいました。

Once upon a time, there was a broad bean named Miino.

ミーノは毎日、空のうえで
のんびりとすごしていました。

Every day, Miino relaxed in the sky.

そこにミーノママがやってきました。
「今日ものんびりすごしているのね。
あなたはみんなのために役に立とうと思わないの？」

Miino's mom went to him. "You're taking it easy today too, aren't you? Don't you want to be useful to everyone?"

「豆は動物やお魚に負けない魅力があるのよ。
もっとおおくの人に知ってもらわないとダメねぇ。」

“Beans are just as charming as animals and fish. You have to let more people know that. "

「ぼくの良さってなんだろう?」
ミーノはわかりません。

"What are my good points?" Miino has no idea.

「まだまだねぇ。まずは自分を
もっと知った方がいいんじゃないかしら。」

"It seems like you still have a long way to go. Maybe you should get to know yourself better first."

ミーノは自分のいいところを探す
旅にでることになりました。

Miino decided to go on a journey to find his good points.

ミーノは自分のうまれた畑にやってきました。
「ぼくみたいな豆の良さってなんだろう。
なにかあるのかなぁ。」

Miino visited the field where he was born. "What is good about beans like me? I wonder if there is something."

「げんきをだしてミーノ。
豆は土をゆたかにすることが
できるじゃないの。」

"Cheer up, Miino. Beans can enrich the soil, can't they?"

「それって畑の野菜や植物のみんなを
助けることにつながるんじゃない？」

"Isn't that going to help all the vegetables and plants in the field?"

「そうか、ぼくもいいところがあるんだな。
もっとほかにもあるのかな？」

"I see. I guess I have good points too. I wonder if there are more?"

ある日ミーノは「Sugar City」
という街をみつけました。

One day, Miino found a city called Sugar City.

街の人は炭水化物をいっぱいたべて、
栄養がかたよっているようです。

The people in the city eat a lot of carbohydrates and it seems that they are nutritionally unbalanced.

それに、この街の人はみんな忙しそうです。
「栄養に気をつけられているのかなぁ。」

Besides, everyone in this city seems to be busy. "I wonder if they are being careful about their nutrition."

ミーノは気づきました。
「あれ...もしかしてぼくって、
手軽にたべられるたんぱく質？」

Miino noticed something. "Huh...? Could it be that I am protein that can be easily eaten?”

自分のいいところを
見つけたかもしれないミーノは、
ためしに、街の人にたべてもらおうと
かんがえました。

Miino, who may have found some good points about himself, decided to have the people of the city try eating him.

そんなところに
ブタさんがやってきました。
「お〜いミーノ！
ちょっときてくれないか〜！」

Just then, a pig came by. "Hey, Miino! Can you come here for a second?"

ついていってみると、
動物たちとだれかが
話しあっているようです。

Miino followed it and found what seemed to be someone having a conversation with some animals.

話をしていたのは、
なんと2050年の未来からやってきた
未来人でした。

The person who was talking was, lo and behold, a person who had come from the future year of 2050.

「わたしたちの時代はたんぱく質が
不足して、こまっているの。
たんぱく質を探してとんでいたら、
ここまできてしまったわ。」

“In our time, we are facing a problem because of a lack of protein. I flew out in search of protein and ended up here."

ミーノは未来人に
自分をすすめてみました。
「豆はたんぱく質もはいっているから
おすすめだよ。」

Miino tried to recommend himself to the person from the future. "Beans are great because they also contain protein."

ミーノのおいしさと手軽さに
未来人はおどろきました。

The person from the future was surprised by the taste and convenience of miino.

「豆はこれからの私たちにとって、
とても大切なんだ！」
ミーノも街のみんなも大喜びです。

"From now on, beans will be very important to us!" Miino and everyone in the city are delighted as well.

「でもほんとうにそうかな...?」
ミーノの自分さがしの旅は
まだまだつづきそうです。
