展覧会と呼応する、デザイン。
OVERVIEW
3年に一度、札幌を舞台に開催される芸術の祭典「札幌国際芸術祭（Sapporo International Art Festival 略称：SIAF）」。
残念ながら新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により開催中止となった2020年。SIAFラボとSCARTSによる新たな共同プロジェクトを紹介する展覧会「Extreme Data Logger：都市と自然の記憶」のデザインを担当しました。
北国・札幌に欠かせない「除雪」という都市機能をデータロガー（気温や湿度などのデータを集めて記録する装置）を通した視点で見つめ直す「除雪彫刻」などが展示された本展、データロガーと雪をデザインの軸として構成していきました。
The Sapporo International Art Festival (SIAF) is an arts festival held in Sapporo once every three years.Unfortunately, in 2020 it was canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. We were in charge of designing the exhibition “Extreme Data Logger: Memories of the City and Nature,” which introduces a new collaborative project by SIAF Lab and SCARTS.The exhibition featured “snow removal sculptures” that looked at the urban function of “snow removal,” an essential part of Sapporo, a northern city, from the perspective of a data logger (a device that collects and records data such as temperature and humidity), and the design was centered around data loggers and snow.
